Chris Ning has been wowing audiences in Toronto and surrounding area clubs for many years generating a rapidly increasing fan base. His singing ability has been heavily influenced by Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin, Chris Cornell of Audio Slave, Lenny Kravitz, Steve Tyler of Aerosmith, and Ian Gillan of Deep Purple.
Chris Ning is a fresh original sounding artist who is winning fans around the world through masterful songwriting, catchy melodies and his wicked vocal chops.
Chris Ning has been an accomplished singer / songwriter /Lead Singer. Chris has the ability to jaw dropped audiences with every performance and was the key factor for his first band “The Effect” in winning the Battle of the Bands in their first ever contest competing against 11 other bands. Chris and his band took 1st place prize which included studio time with Juno Award winning producer/engineer Norm Barker. - Using the studio time that was award to them, they recorded three original songs that received rave reviews from fans all over.
With Newspaper write ups and a loyal fan base, Chris Ning has proven that his musical talents and acceptance is nothing short of spectacular.
Chris Ning is a young driven performer. Chris has been singing since he was 7 years old. He has an impressive 4 octave range and massive power that is beyond his years. Chris sings from the heart and feels his music. Chris is incredibly gifted – he plays piano, guitar and has written a collections of original songs that is turning heads.
His personal performances include: Downsview Park, The Pic A Deli, The Muddy Moose, Degrassi House, The Boulevard Club, Meadowvale Community Centre, Mississauga Summer Festival, North Bay Music Festival, Bread and Honey Festival and a host of other events.
Currently Chris is in Los Angeles promoting his new single Wasting Time.
